Sex on the Beach
There are many stories claiming to describe the origin of the Sex on the Beach. One claims that the cocktail originated in Florida in the spring of 1987 based on the timing of the introduction of Peach Schnapps. Some say a bartender at Confetti’s Bar devised the drink and gave it the name in a nod to the many tourists visiting Florida’s beaches each spring break where well, you know what happens during Spring Break. This 80’s cocktail was the go to sweet cocktail for many college students and gained wide spread popularity lasting well into the 90’s. Still the quintessential 80’s cocktail it’s great for throw back parties with big hair rock and disco blaring in background!
